⁵ And all the country of Judea, and they of Jerusalem went out unto him, and were all baptized of him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.

^6 (A)Now John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins: and he did eat ^(B)locusts and wild honey,

^7 (C)[a]And preached, saying, A stronger than I cometh after me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to ^[b]stoop down, and unloose.
